| These RAM dual disc clutch systems for early and late model musclecars provide smooth street drivability with race car level clamping force. The assemblies consist of an aluminum flywheel, an easy pedal effort diaphragm pressure plate, 300 Series friction material, and a special floater plate retainer system that virtually eliminates floater plate rattle. The holding capacity for this clutch is in excess of 900 ft.-lbs., and yet the engagement is silky smooth, thanks to the 300 Series friction material. Now, you do not have to deal with on/off switch clutches for your high-horsepower street machine! The systems work with mechanical linkages on older cars and hydraulic and cable systems. A safety bellhousing is strongly advised, and some modifications may be required to pivot ball configurations in cable and mechanical release applications, as well as hydraulics.
