   Description:Tick Performance proudly presents their brand new Elite Series of Camshafts specifically for LS3 & L99 Engines! Using the latest and greatest technology available, industry-renowned camshaft expert Martin Smallwood was able to mastermind a complete line of Camshafts that are designed to meet every goal from mild to wild. The Elite Series of Camshafts are all manufactured by COMP Cams and feature a mixture of LXL, LSL and HUC lobes (with a few other tricks up our sleeve, as well.) Although we suggest measuring for piston-to-valve clearance during ANY camshaft install, every Elite Series Camshaft is designed to fit in a stock engine & stock heads with adequate clearance unless otherwise noted. These cams are designed to maximize power, reliability and valvetrain longevity.

Basic Operating RPM Range: 2000-6600
Expected Horsepower Gains: 40-45RWHP over the stock camshaft in a well-optimized setup
Aftermarket Headers Required: Longtubes suggested for maximum power gains
Stall Converter Required: Yes, 3600+RPM
Rear Gear Upgrade Required: Suggested for maximum performance (3.73+ for manual transmissions, 3.42+ for automatics)
Works Well with Nitrous: Yes (shot size less than 250)
Will Pass Most Smog Emissions: No

Tick Performance Street Heat Stage 2 Camshaft for LS3 & L99 Engines is designed for those who want to turn heads with a nice lopey idle! You'll gain a very noticeable amount of power while retaining great street manners with this camshaft. This camshaft will not work in vehicles equipped with VVT or DOD. If your vehicle still has these systems, they will need to be deleted at the time of the camshaft install (parts sold separately.) We strongly suggest the use of Brian Tooley Racing Valvesprings and hardened pushrods with this camshaft (also sold separately.) Hundreds of hours were spent developing this camshaft to perform precisely the way we advertise, so as a result, changes to the LSA or any other specification of this camshaft are not available.
