   Description:The Pocket Protector is a heat shield that fits below the air filter on 09-14 Cadillac CTS-Vs. It separates the engine compartment hot air from entering below the air filter. It is this "pocket" where hot air accumulates from the engine. This heat shield mounts in the space below the frame rail. Testing has shown that ambient air temperatures can be 5 degrees cooler with the use of this shield.
