| The Ford Mustang is well known for its ability to produce high amounts of low end torque and incredible 60' times. It is also known for its weak rear control arm mounting points. The upper and lower rear control arm mounting points are the areas where the control arms attach to the under carriage of the vehicle. Upper and lower control arm reinforcements are a must when racing and hard driving habits are present; overtime these areas weaken causing cracks, tears and irreversible damage.
The complete kit is designed to reinforce both the upper control arm mounting points and the front mounting points of the lower control arms; otherwise known as the torque box area. Reinforcement of these areas is a must when running aftermarket control arms, polyurethane bushings and especially South Side Machine lift bars or similar. Kits come complete with grade 8 hardware and detailed installation instructions. They can be installed with basic hand tools and installation of a complete kit takes approximately 4 hours; everything needed is included. Some drilling required, welding is optional.
Installation:Reinforcements are Weld- or Bolt-in, all hardware and installation instructions are included with each kit. Complete kit install time is approximately 4 hours.
