The first and only 2-point tubular bolt-in sub-frame connector for the 2005-2010 Ford Mustang is now available from UMI Performance. This set up is designed to tie the front and rear sub-frames together using bolt-in hardware supplied and requires no welding or drilling! Sub-frame connectors improve your vehicles handling ability while reducing squeaks, dash rattles and quarter panel flexing. This set-up is designed for auto-cross, road race as well as drag race applications. By connecting the front and rear sub-frames together this allows better weight transfer for improved traction and straighter launches. This set-up tucks tight against the floor using strong DOM tubing, causes no ground clearance loss and can not be seen from the side of the vehicle.
Installation: This item is 100% bolt in and requires no drilling or welding. The sub-frame connectors attach to existing floor pan holes using supplied hardware and brackets. This installation can be completed in 45 minutes or less using basic hand tools. Sub-frame connectors can be welded at any time.
Chrome Moly- Chrome Moly version uses 1.750" x 0.083" 4130 Chrome Moly steeland is TIG welded. The Chrome Moly construction adds increased strength while reducing product weight making this item 6lbs lighter than using mild steel.
